Celebrating the Life of Melitron Founder Ted Turner

It is with great sadness that Melitron shares the passing of the Company’s founder Ted Turner. Ted passed away on June 3rd at the age of 77.
 
Ted founded Millennium Manufacturing (now Melitron) in 1995 to support the manufacturing requirements of his corn stove distribution company. The Company soon evolved into a custom metal fabrication operation that would become the foundation for the successful business that Melitron has grown into for almost 30 years.
 
Ted retired from his position as President and CEO at Melitron in 2011. His son Mike Turner, who joined the business in 1996, was promoted to the leadership position and continues as President and CEO today.
 
“My father Ted was the ultimate entrepreneur and a charismatic character,” said Mike. “He developed a unique friendship with everyone he interacted with in his business dealings. He regularly enjoyed socializing with all employees at Melitron where he was a great friend to those that met him.”
 
A Celebration of Life will be arranged at a future date.
